We have been going to Morristown, then Mogul, and now Mehndi for decades. They have always maintained the quality of food. My husband favorite goat curry, kababs, and Biryani go to place. They haven't upgraded the decor, which is in dire need. Service is good, these days it seems they are understaffed but they do good job of service.

We loved this place! Our waiter Sam was extremely nice and friendly. At the end of our delicious meal he brought us a beautiful warm chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream on the house. All dishes were amazing and complex tasting. The shrimp appetizer was plentiful and perfectly cooked. The salmon was served in a delicious cilantro sauce and the spinach dish was nice and deep tasting. The restaurant is very spacious and tastefully decorated. A completely great meal experience. We will come back and look for Sam!

Best Indian food I have had! Definitely worth the price. I recommend the chicken options. They are made differently from most Indian restaurants and taste so good. The restaurant staff are pretty awesome especially the host outside. Only downside is several wait staff attend to you so sometimes you have to repeat what was shared with a different staff. They are pretty fast and never miss an order so it is not too bad. Great food!

Dinner for 3 where we ordered non veg mixed grill which was good, chicken lollipops were average, entrees were butter chicken (awful and tasteless), lamb Kashmiri (average flavor and chewy meat), garlic naans were the highlight. Service was average. Service. Harte of 22% charged to all tables by default irrespective of number of guests. Rather strange ambience and disappointing dining experience

Mehndi is an absolutely gorgeous restaurant tucked in a corner next to the SM23 Lounge and Ming II restaurant. You are met with wonderful smells of the Indian food and beautiful atmosphere. The food didn’t disappoint. I am vegan, so I had the Tadka Dal, which is yellow pigeon peas, tomato, garlic, red chili, cumin seed. My friend had something with shrimp... I can’t remember the name of it, but we both loved our dish as well as the naan and rice served with it. The service was very great. 10/10 I would visit again.
